SMS Terms of Service

These SMS Terms of Service ("SMS Terms") govern your participation in the text messaging program operated by Coverage Crossroads, a DBA of Coverage Cleared LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to receive SMS messages from Coverage Crossroads, you agree to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
1. Program description
The Coverage Crossroads SMS program delivers educational and informational content related to auto insurance, including coverage explainers and reminders tied to life events that may affect your existing policy (such as buying or selling a vehicle, moving, marriage, adding a driver, financing or leasing, vehicle modifications, and commute changes). Coverage Crossroads is not an insurance company, agent, broker, marketplace, or lead generator, and SMS messages from Coverage Crossroads will never quote, sell, or solicit insurance.
2. Opt-in and consent
By providing your mobile number and checking an SMS consent box on our website, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Coverage Crossroads at the mobile number provided, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or pre-recorded voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase or access to any educational content on the Site. Two distinct SMS message categories are offered (account notifications and educational updates); each requires its own opt-in checkbox.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity and the categories you selected. Educational update subscribers may receive up to approximately 8 messages per month.

5. Opt-out
You may opt out of the SMS program at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any message. We will send one confirmation message and will not send further messages after opt-out, except as required to complete a confirmation. To rejoin, repeat the opt-in process on our website.

7. Supported carriers
The Coverage Crossroads SMS program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket Wireless, and Virgin Mobile. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy and no sharing with insurers
Your mobile number, opt-in choices, and consent records are used only to operate this educational SMS program. Coverage Crossroads does not sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile information, opt-in data, or consent to insurance carriers, insurance agents, insurance brokers, lead aggregators, or third-party marketers under any circumstance. Mobile information is shared only with service providers that deliver the messages on our behalf (such as Pineapple SMS, Xeebi AI, and Textback AI), under contractual confidentiality obligations. 9. Changes to the program
We may modify or terminate the SMS program at any time without prior notice. We may also update these SMS Terms by posting an updated version with a new "Last updated" date.
